Faulkner’s Needling Treatment

Falknor`s Needling is a procedure used to treat verruca, an occurrence of planar warts around soles and toes. HPV, or Human Papilloma Virus, is usually the cause for verruca, and can be contagious, necessitating swift treatment. This is an immunotherapeutic treatment for the soft tissue, which breaks down the verruca, and creates an inflammatory response. This can stimulate the body’s immune system to combat the virus accordingly.

This form of treatment differs from salicylic acid or cryotherapy, as it requires a minimal number of sessions to be completed. As such, it is a great therapeutic treatment for individuals who don’t have much time on their hands. It is carried out under basic anaesthesia, with only minor soreness post-treatment.
